Epilepsy teen's plea over pooch missing in Highlands
THE family of a teenager whose support dog has been missing for two weeks in the Highlands have spoken about their desperate search for him.
Louie, a two-year-old golden retriever, is trained to raise the alarm when Ellie Lynn, 17, is about to have an epileptic seizure. But he went missing on the path to Steall Falls in Glen Nevis, in their home town of Fort William, after slipping his lead on May 26.
Ellie's mum Louise Manson said: "Ellie's lost without him. She has found the two weeks so hard. It has been a real struggle.
"If Ellie is home alone and feeling insecure, he's by her side.
