Scotland old boy aiming to play on until 2027 World Cup
WARHORSE Grant Gilchrist has no intention of being put out to grass.
The 35-year-old - the oldest man in Gregor Townsend's Scotland squad for the Autumn Test series — insists there is plenty of fight left in him yet.
The second row, capped 82 times, has made the opener against the USA at Murrayfield a week on Saturday top of his agenda - and hasnt ruled out playing until the World Cup in just under two years’ time.
Gilchrist said: “If guys are coming through trying to get ahead of me, I'll make sure they have to fight for their place.
