Watson tried to play it cool on call-up but dubs B&B naturals

DAVID WATSON tried to play it cool when he was called up to train with Killie's first team for the first time.

But the midfielder admits he was bursting with excitement.

So, Watson knows exactly what Ben Brannan and Ethan Brown have gone through after being elevated from Kilmarnock's academy into Stuart Kettlewell's senior side.

The 18-year-old Brannan and 20-year-old Brown have stepped up and fitted seamlessly into the club's first team this season.

Watson progressed along the same pathway in September 2021 when he was selected to train with the first team prior to his debut against Falkirk the first of his 108 appearances.
