SKIPPER Gregor Buchanan reckons the only shock about Stenhousemuir's 4-0 mauling of Morton was their goal tally.

The centre-back, 35, said: “It's a special competition, so I'm proud of the team.

“It was a really difficult first half and the 2-0 scoreline probably didn't reflect the performance because I didn't think we were fully at it the way we usually are.

“Two great set-pieces came in and it was two great goals.

“We're a threat from them and laid a marker.

“We ran over the top of them in the second half.
