Ritchie's bound for Perpignan
JAMIE RITCHIE reckons the time is right for a new challenge in a new country - so he is leaving Edinburgh at the end of the season for Perpignan.
The 28-year-old former Scotland skipper has spent his entire pro career with the capital club.
He made his debut in 2014 then in 2021 he signed the longest contract in their history.
The back-row forward was in talks with Edinburgh about a new deal but he told them this week he had decided on a move. Yesterday it was made official that he's off to France.
Ritchie said: "I have literally grown up at this club over the last 10 years and this has been an incredibly hard decision for me and my family to move on.
"I have absolutely loved my time here and I am extremely grateful to everyone who has been a part of that journey. This club means so much to me.
