FM slams claims staffer hid recording device in office of female MSP

Swinney has branded claims a male staff member bugged the office of a female SNP MSP "completely unacceptable".Complaints have reportedly been made to the Scottish Parliament's presiding officer over the alleged incident in late 2023.

It is understood the man admitted during an HR probe into a separate issue hed planted the recording devices in the MSP’s office.

He then worked for a male MP but is no longer in that role.
