Fear of husband 'led to his wife's fatal bridge fall'

Accused denies abuse before tragic Kimberley jumped into path of cars

A WOMAN jumped to her death from a road bridge after being assaulted and followed by her husband, a court has been told.

Lee Milne, 39, denies killing Kimberley Milne, 28, who plummeted from the overpass into the path of fast moving traffic, in Dundee on July 27, 2023.

Her sister compared the couple's relationship to "a horror story" in evidence at the High Court in Glasgow yesterday.

It is alleged Milne drove at speed, performed a handbrake turn, revved the engine of his car, spun the wheels and drove erratically while she was in the car with him.

He is then said to have placed his hands at either side of her head against a wall and acted in an aggressive and intimidating manner.
