EASTER WEEKEND WEATHER AND FUEL WOE

MILLIONS of motorists embarking on the busiest Easter getaway since 2022 face queues and fears of fuel shortages at the pumps.

And to add to the misery the Met Office has warned the fourth storm of the year, Storm Dave, will mean a cold, wet and windy weekend for the UK with up to 90mph gusts and snow in parts of Scotland.

The AA expects 19.6million drivers to take to the road today, roughly half a million more than last year, rising to almost 20.3million tomorrow.

Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday are also forecast to be busy.
