DEL: FOZZY CALLED TO APOLOGISE

HEARTS boss Derek McInnes has revealed Mark Fotheringham phoned him to apologise for their touchline spat.

An irked McInnes confronted staff in the Celtic dugout as they celebrated Benjamin Nygren's stunning free-kick in Sunday's gripping 2-2 draw at Tynecastle.

And McInnes, left, hinted that it was Hoops first-team coach Fotheringham who annoyed him, saying: “One of their inexperienced coaches, I didn't like his reaction to scoring the goal.

“Nothing to do with Shaun [Maloney] or Martin [O'Neill], just a poor reaction.”

And now McInnes, whose side will attempt to increase their fourpoint lead at the Premiership summit in this evening's TV clash at Dundee United, admits the pair have settled their differences after Fotheringham called him.

McInnes said: "Just to clarify, I was annoyed.
