MARK STOWE'S double in a four-goal stroll still tops his Scottish Cup highlight reel - even though it came against his current club.

It turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Spartans.

And hed love to do them another favour by making club history with a quarterfinal berth as he revealed he's wired in thanks to his Sparky.

The 26-year-old has been scoring for fun this season, burying 18 goals in 34 games to help Dougie Samuel's boys hit the League Two summit.

Extra time on the training pitch with former Dundee United frontman Marc “Sparky” McNulty has been a godsend.

It's a return to his free-scoring days down the pyramid at Linlithgow Rose, cup shock specialists whose scalps included Spartans in round two three-and-a-half years ago. And while Samuel actually THANKS him for that 4-0 pasting, Stowe is hellbent on sending shock waves through Spartans’ dressing room for the right reasons.
