CRIGHTON: IT'S RIGHT CALL . . BUT TOO LATE

SEAN CRIGHTON last night slammed the SPFL after Queens Park's match against Ross County was KOd at the last minute.

The Spiders boss was left seething as his side's Championship clash at the City Stadium was called off due to a frozen pitch less than 15 minutes before kickoff after a final check by ref Lloyd Wilson.

An SPFL official had inspected the surface at lunchtime but deemed the pitch playable.

But Wilson pulled the plug on a game that was set to be beamed live by BBC Scotland and Crighton insisted his feelings were for the Staggies fans who had made the fruitless trek from Dingwall to Glasgow.
