Sore one for Edinburgh as they are gored at Hive for the first time this season
EDINBURGH'S hopes of a URC playoff place were dealt a big blow as they lost at the Hive for the first time this season.
A win over the Bulls would have put the club back inside the top half of the table, still with a game in hand on most of their rivals,
They ran in three tries to go in at the break 17-5 up, only for the Bulls to score early in the second 40 and crank up the pressure before going ahead 10 minutes from time.
Edinburgh head coach Sean Everitt said: "It was very frustrating. We were in total control of that game.
"In the second half we came out and if you want to do a quick review of the game, you've got to look at three things set-piece, territory and defence. We defended well. We didn't have the territory. They just dominated us in the collisions."
