Largest known chunk of Mars on Earth sells for a record £3.95m
A MARS meteorite has set a world record after being auctioned for £3.95million.
The largest known piece of the Red Planet on Earth, Meteorite NWA 16788, weighs 54lbs and is approximately 70 per cent larger than any other known Martian fragment.
