Fitz hunts a double as he lays bare how football can help foil the Yanks

MATT FITZPATRICK is looking for a big win double over the next two weekends at home and away.

First he wants his beloved Sheffield United to finally win a match against Charlton today.

Then the Ryder Cup star aims to claim his first points in an away match to help Team Europe retain the trophy at Bethpage Black.

The 2022 US Open winner is confident of the Blades getting off the foot of the Championship with Chris Wilder back in charge for a third spell.

He said: “We will win. I'm telling you now they will win, yeah. Now Chris Wilder is back, we're a different team. I know for a fact!”

And the world No.29, who has banked £22million on the PGA Tour, would be open to investing in his hometown club.
