JACK BUTLAND insists Rangers are on the right path with Danny Rohl despite a backward step against Falkirk.

The German couldn't make it five league wins in a row in a dismal 0-0 weekend draw at Ibrox.

But keeper Butland, left with Rohl, said: "I know what the fans are seeing is not good enough but what I do have is belief in the manager, what he's trying to do and the messages that he's trying to get across.

"I can't sugarcoat it. I'm not going to pretend it's where it needs to be.

"We've got to do better at putting those messages on the pitch and perform better. Simple as that." Rohl's side have scored just 11 goals in his nine games in charge and that dismal return has heaped pressure on summer signings such as Youssef Chermiti, Bojan Miovski and Thelo Aasgaard.
