Mum and daughter savaged by bully-type dog on doorstep

A MUM and daughter have been "scarred for life" by a bully-type dog in a horrific street attack

Tanya Kanstantsinava, 37, was returning from the shops when the beast, which she had already complained about to the council, leapt on her and tackled her to the ground on her own doorstep.

As the dog sank its teeth into her neck, Tanya's 14-year-old daughter, who she has asked us not to name, came running out of the Coatbridge property to help her mum but was bitten on the lip.

The terrifying ordeal was only brought to an end when Tanya's partner, Andrejs, managed to force the dog's jaws open to set the mum free.

Tanya said: "It was agonising and terrifying.
