Winning in front of fans a driving force for Robbo

ANDY ROBERTSON has admitted celebrating winning the Premier League title with supporters means more than when he first won it behind closed doors in 2020.

The Scotland international was restored to Arne Slot's starting XI as the Reds thrashed Tottenham 5-1 on Sunday to clinch the championship.

Liverpool only needed a point to secure the title, but ended up being crowned champions in style.

Robertson is one of nine survivors in Slot's squad from Jurgen Klopp's title-winning side in 2019/20.

"It means the world - it means everything to us," he said. "The people at Anfield, the people outside Anfield, they have made it a special day for all of us and one we'll remember for years and years to come.

"Obviously, the last time, we were devastated not to be able to do it in front of them.
