WREXHAM have bolstered their squad with the signing of Leicester City and Wales goalkeeper Danny Ward.
The 32-year-old has made the move back to his boyhood team as a free agent after his contract with the recently relegated Foxes came to an end.
Ward made four appearances for Leicester last season before they dropped out of the Premier League.
He has now joined Wrexham on a two-year deal following their successful promotion to the Championship in April under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Ward is expected to begin his time at the Racecourse Ground as cover for the club's current number one goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo.
A homegrown talent, Ward's footballing journey began at Wrexham's academy before he moved to Liverpool in January 2012 for a sum of £100,000.
His subsequent transfer to Leicester in 2018 for £12.5million proved lucrative for the North Wales club.
