United dealt blow in Mastantuono hunt

MANCHESTER United have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Franco Mastantuono after River Plate chief Stefano Di Carlo confirmed he will remain in Argentina until the end of 2025.
-
Mastantuono, 17, has enjoyed a memorable 18 months after breaking into the River first-team.
He made his senior debut in January 2024 and became the club’s youngest-ever goalscorer the following the month.
