The inside story of Drew Pritchard's mammoth Georgian restoration

Salvage Hunter Drew Pritchard ponders his next move

SALVAGE Hunters star Drew Pritchard took a major risk when restoring a five-storey Georgian townhouse, a building he said was riddled with “bodged repairs”.

To offset soaring expenses as the project progressed, he was forced to sell off numerous cherished possessions.

Drew described the 18th century property, liberally coated with white gloss paint, as the “worst house in the best location” in Bath, Somerset.

But despite encountering countless challenges during the gruelling renovation, he eventually saw the fruits of his labours come to life.

The Conwy antiques dealer highlighted the extraordinary results on his Instagram Stories, offering followers big reveals of tastefully styled rooms featuring flawless finishes.

Each space showcased his sophisticated eye for often unique objects and the way they worked in combination.

The effort involved in renovating and refurbishing the building did not dim Drew's zest for antiques and his ability to find attractive paintings, furniture and curios.
