Tandy warns Wales to stay focused as All Blacks will be 'gunning' for Cardiff victory

STEVE TANDY has named his side to face New Zealand this weekend, with Harri Deaves handed a Test debut against the All Blacks.

Tandy has made five changes to the side that narrowly beat Japan last Saturday.

Here's what the Wales coach had to say...

"He's trained really well. I've enjoyed him when he's played for the Scarlets. His versatility, he brings what we're looking for in our 12s. He's a big boy but he’s very talented.

He can kick and play the ball. He's got all the qualities you want in a 12.

“The last few weeks in training, he’s consistently put his hands up, he’s constantly challenging. So he gets his reward.”

“He's a big boy. He's aggressive as well. His mindset is impressive. How he knows the game and understands it, he’s very diligent. It’s an exciting opportunity for him.”

“It's tough to lose Josh and his experience. He's been excellent around the group with the way he's trained. He is a loss for us, not just on the field, but in the environment as well.
