Murchie excited to be appointed to coaching set-up
FORMER Scotland international Peter Murchie has been confirmed as Wales' new defence coach.
The 40-year-old will join Steve Tandy's coaching team on a fulltime basis ahead of this summer's Nations Championship after the conclusion of the Japanese Rugby League One season.
Murchie is currently the defence coach of Kobe Steelers in that competition. Previously, he had spent time with Glasgow Warriors, helping them win the 2024 United Rugby Championship.
