STAR AND PARTNER IMPRESSED JUDGES BUT HAD A SHOCK IN STORE WHEN THE PUBLIC VOTED

- By SARA BAALLA

STRICTLY Come Dancing star Amber Davies said "I was terrified" as she reflected on a rollercoaster week on the show.

The West End performer from Denbigh and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin found themselves in the dance-off on Sunday, despite coming second on the leaderboard.

They re-performed their Ariana Grande-inspired Cha Cha Cha to Break Free, before ex-footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren Oakley performed their Prince-inspired American Smooth to Purple Rain.

The judges unanimously chose to save Amber, resulting in Jimmy and Lauren becoming the fourth couple to be eliminated from the competition, despite ranking fourth on the leaderboard.

Amber reflected on the shock dance-off during an appearance on Strictly spin-off, It Takes Two.
