Dragons linked with move for Broadhead and Ajax midfielder

WREXHAM manager Phil Parkinson has had an exceptionally busy summer following his side's promotion from League One last term.

The ex-Bolton and Sunderland boss has enjoyed considerable financial support from the club's celebrity owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, to strengthen his squad.

The Red Dragons have so far secured eight fresh faces, the eighth announced yesterday in Wales and Sheffield United striker Kieffer Moore.

At least one high-profile departure has also occurred, notably Wrexham icon Paul Mullin's temporary switch to Wigan Athletic.

The North Wales outfit will kick off their Championship journey with a challenging fixture against Southampton on Saturday.

Parkinson has suggested additional new arrivals could materialise before the campaign begins.

Speaking on the club's YouTube channel, he said: "Are we completely ready? I hope there's a bit more transfer activity this week but by next Saturday we will be ready for action."
