Snow and ice alert given for N.Wales

THE Met Office has issued a 15-hour weather warning for snow and ice.

The yellow warning came into effect at 6pm last night, lasting until 9am today, covering parts of Gwynedd, Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.
Forecasters are warning the conditions could bring some disruption, especially to travel, with some roads and railways likely to be affected by longer journey times for bus and train services.
A Met Office forecast said: “Outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow will move north over mid and north Wales and northern England on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
