Roundabout graffiti a 'hate-related offence'

POLICE are investigating graffiti painted on a Llandudno roundabout as a "hate-related offence".
A Welsh flag replaced a flag of St George, accompanied by an obscene anti-English message.
The England flag appeared on the Maesdu Road mini roundabout in the Conwy resort last week. The local authority removed the graffiti only for a Welsh Ddraig Goch (Red Dragon) flag to appear at the weekend.
Vandals also painted the words “F*** the English”. Conwy Council was again forced to remove the latest piece of graffiti, describing the damage as a waste of public resources.
