RETAILER ISSUES UPDATE ON CYBER HIT AS 'INCONVENIENCE' CONTINUES

M&S has issued an update over a cyber attack that has wreaked havoc on contactless payments, cafes and deliveries.

The issue began on Monday, as confused customers were turned away at tills and cafes in stores such as Llandudno were closed.

One shopper told the Daily Post that staff were at the door warning customers of the impact and they had been unable to exchange items due to the chaos.

The Llandudno store reported its cafe was closed on Monday, although it has since reopened.

The retailer issued a new update on Wednesday night, warning some of the impacts will continue in the coming days.
