The leader of the opposition on Conwy County Council has criticised the authority for suggesting another council tax increase in April is "inevitable".
The council is currently conducting a public survey on the budget, highlighting a £20.4m deficit projected for the 2026/27 fiscal year.
Residents are being asked whether they “agree or disagree” with various proposed cost-saving measures and potential ways to raise funds.
