Rail services cancelled on valley line after weekend flooding

FLOOD alerts were in place in Gwynedd and Conwy following heavy rain, with some rail services disrupted due to flooding.
-
Two flood alerts were in force on Saturday, with rivers swollen due to recent downpours. One was for the Conwy catchment area, covering areas around the river Conwy from Dolwyddelan to Conwy.
The other was for the River Conwy at Gwydir Road, covering areas of agricultural land and isolated properties in the Conwy Valley.
