Potential congestion due to A55 closures

A55 closures in Conwy are planned later this week to allow a busy carriageway section to be resurfaced.
The work is due to take five nights with traffic diverted through a nearby town.
Traffic Wales said “essential” resurfacing is needed at junction J19 (Glan Conwy) - commonly called the Black Cat junction.
Both east and westbound carriageways will be repaired along with the junction's westbound off-slip.
The work is scheduled to start on Saturday, February 28, and continue until Wednesday, March 4. Closure signs will be in place from 7pm until 6am each night.
