Porsche driver hit 90mph in bid to escape from police

A PORSCHE driver drove at 70mph in a 20mph zone and went the wrong way down a one-way street in a bid to escape police. Callum Elson later admitted dangerous driving.
The 27-year-old, of Towyn Way East, Towyn, Conwy, also admitted several breaches of a court order banning him from seeing former partner Holly Roberts.
A judge at Caernarfon Crown Court yesterday said he could be rehabilitated.
She gave him a nine-month jail term for dangerous driving and a consecutive ten-month jail term for breaching a restraining order.
Both were suspended for 19 months with conditions.
Prosecutor Dafydd Roberts said a police officer noticed a Porsche Macan driver on a road between Caerwys and Dyserth driving 'erratically' on January 26.
