A POPULAR Llandudno bar is set to reopen. Fountains Cafe Bar was handed a closure notice earlier this year following a serious assault near the premises.

The premises licence was then surrendered by the previous holder in May 2025.

Control Leisure Ltd's designated premises supervisor Aaran Lennox has since applied for a licence to reopen the cafe bar on Mostyn Street and Conwy’s licensing subcommittee met last week to discuss the application.
