Police action 'part of drug supply chain disruption'

POLICE launched a targeted operation yesterday, with officers executing multiple search warrants at residential addresses throughout the Wrexham Rural area.

The coordinated activity is part of a wider strategy to dismantle illegal drug supply chains within the local community, North Wales Police said.

In a statement issued as the searches commenced, NWP Wrexham Rural said: “Officers are currently carrying out a series of proactive warrants at residential addresses across the district as part of a targeted operation to tackle the supply of illegal drugs.
