Menai Suspension Bridge to fully reopen today
Daily Post
|October 24, 2025
THE Menai Suspension Bridge will reopen fully to two-way traffic from 7am today.
This follows the completion of temporary works to address an issue in a number of bolts on the bridge.
The bridge was closed to all traffic earlier this month after engineers highlighted the need to replace bolts on critical beams located beneath the structure.
It was the latest setback for the historic bridge which first shut in October 2022 due to safety concerns.
