MAN PRESSED MACHETE TO WOMAN'S FACE

- By DAVID POWELL Daily Post Reporter david.powell@reachplc.com

A MAN pressed a machete to his former partner's face, leaving her fearing for her life.

Morgan Pendlebury, 20, had an “unhealthy interest in weapons’, a judge said.

Llandudno Magistrates Court heard he had been in a relationship with his victim but it has now ended.

Pendlebury, of Maes y Goron, Denbigh, admitted common assault at Maes y Goron, Denbigh, possession of an offensive weapon - the machete with an eleven-inch blade - in a public place, and causing criminal damage to his former partner’s phone - all on October 4.

‘The court heard Pendlebury and the woman had been in a relationship. But there was an argument on October 4.

During the incident he came to her home in Maes y Goron, Denbigh, and banged on the door.
