How seaside village's roads could look under new 'active travel' plan

ANGLESEY council has revised proposals to transform the road network in a seaside village that's popular among locals and visitors.
The council is re-consulting on Active Travel routes in Benllech after feedback received during the initial consultation in 2023.
Officers said they had listened to the responses and implemented changes to the scheme.
The local authority said: "We would welcome your comments to understand whether the proposed scheme will be of benefit to you and the wider community.
"The online consultation will be live until 25th March 2026 and there is an opportunity to visit our drop-in session at Neuadd Goronwy Owen on Wednesday, 11th March 2026 (3:00-6:30pm).
