Holywell and Llandudno share spoils in top-of-table clash

HOLYWELL TOWN became only the second team to deny JD Cymru North leaders Llandudno points as they drew 1-1 in the top of the table clash at Bartons North Wales Stadium.

A crowd of more than 700 gathered to witness a tight tussle that started with a bang as the home side lost Ieuan Hewitt to a third minute red card along with Llandudno’s Callum Stephens.

It got worse for the Wellmen as the game wore on as they ended with nine men after Guto Williams picked up a second yellow in the 90th minute and coach Dan Stanton also saw red for a second yellow as the clock went into the red.
