Harrison recall could be on the cards

PAUL Heckingbottom said he has been in contact with David Moyes over the future of Everton teenager Harrison Armstrong.

The midfielder is enjoying a positive loan spell at Deepdale, where he has emerged as an influential player in an unexpected Championship promotion push.

The 18-year-old has played 16 times in the league so far - initially having to fight his way into a winning squad after arriving in the final hours of the summer transfer window.

Whether he will continue his season with Preston is currently an open question, with Moyes having to deal with a selection crisis at Finch Farm.

Everton do have the option to recall Armstrong in January.
