Gran 'stamped to death' as doorbell cam caught sounds of horror attack

A “DEFENCELESS” 69-year-old grandmother was stamped to death in her bedroom by an intruder, and the sound of the brutal killing was caught on a Ring doorbell, a jury heard.

Dean Mears, 34, of Bodelwyddan Avenue, Kinmel Bay, denies the murder of Catherine Flynn at her Rhyl home in October. He's admitted manslaughter.

Caernarfon Crown Court was told that the pensioner’s daughter, Natasha Flynn, received doorbell notifications of events outside her mother’s home.
