THIS May half term make lasting memories as you try fun activities and exciting challenges at the special places cared for by National Trust Cymru.

From blossom inspired trails and gardening activities, to storytelling and outdoor play areas, there's plenty to keep the family enter-tained, wherever you visit.

Admission applies, free entry to National Trust members.

NORTH WALES

ERDDIG HALL & GARDENWrexham

Celebrate Children’s Gardening Week. On selected dates, join bor-der sowing sessions with the garden team. Little gar-deners can grab a mini watering can or spade and help sow borders of the Grade-I listed garden or join in with one of the upcycle and sow sessions.

Design an upcycled plant pot and plant some seeds to take home and grow.

CHIRK CASTLE & GARDENWrexham

Step back in time and uncover the history of Chirk Castle. Discover the medieval Adam Tower, dress up in armour, peek through murder holes, or brave the two-level dungeons. On 26 and 27 May, join Jake the storyteller for stories about birds, from soaring eagles to playful robins. Still have energy to burn? There's an award-winning garden to discover and an outdoor play area.

PLAS NEWYDD HOUSE & GARDENAnglesey

Pick up an activity booklet from the visitor centre and capture your favourite moments through sketch-ing, poetry and storytelling. Explore rolling hills, open lawns, the Dairy Wood play area, the tree house in the West Indies and picnic over-looking the Menai Strait.
