A FULL inquest will begin today into the death of drag star The Vivienne.

The tragic death of the drag-scene trailblazer, whose real name was James Lee Williams, was announced on January 5, leading to a huge outpouring of shock and grief around the world.
The performer, who grew up in Colwyn Bay, shot to fame as the winner of the first season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK back in 2019.
They were well known and much-loved in their adopted home of Liverpool. On Monday, January 6, Cheshire Police said officers had been called to an address in Chorlton-by-Backford, near Chester, at 12.22 pm on the previous day following reports of a sudden death.
