Electrical fault sparks emergency response

AN electrical fault sparked an emergency services response and long road closure in a North Wales town centre.

The alert was first raised at around 8am on Saturday with reports of smoke coming from manholes on Vale Road in Rhyl.
The police posted on social media at 8.20am for people to “avoid the area”.
They added: “Police and Fire service are currently dealing with an ongoing incident on Vale Road Rhyl
