Dragons on alert as forward Ings leaves Hammers

The club's owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have made no secret of their Premier League ambitions after achieving promotion from League One in April.

Manager Phil Parkinson is preparing for a pivotal summer transfer window as he plans to revamp his squad.

The Red Dragons have already been associated with several top-tier players, including Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson and defender Aaron Cresswell, who is leaving West Ham as a free agent.

Wrexham reportedly now have their eyes set on an audacious bid to sign another Hammers player, Danny Ings.

The forward is also set to become a free agent after a two-and-a-half-year stint at the London Stadium.
