Devastating fire at hotel 'absolutely heartbreaking'

A WOMAN has shared her heartbreak after a fire caused “substantial damage” to the Anglesey hotel she runs.

Roads around the Harbour Hotel, in Cemaes, on Anglesey, were closed while emergency services worked at the scene in the early hours of yesterday.

Leah Marie Fitton says she does not know what the future holds for the hotel, but thanked the emergency services for their swift response and people for their messages of support.

In a heartfelt statement on Facebook, she said: “As many of you will have heard, there’s been a devastating fire at The Harbour. It’s not just a business - it's been my home, my life, and my has always held a special place in my heart, for so many years.

“Seeing it like this is absolutely heartbreaking. It’s not just a devastating loss for myself, but for our village!
