Owner told to surrender pets over noise nuisance

A LEAFY city suburb with tree lined avenues and green parks is where you would expect to find some peace.

But that’s not been the case for over three years in a usually quiet part of Wrexham.

Since December 2022, Wrexham council has received hundreds of complaints about persistent dog barking from people living on Holly Walks and adjacent streets.

In fact there have been nearly 1,000 episodes reported - many late at night, with residents saying it was leaving them distressed.

Last week a court outcome was finally reached that those living in the area hope will finally solve the problem.
