Closures and curbs on roads for marathon

KEY roads in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park will be closed or restricted this weekend. Traffic arrangements are being put in place for Marathon Eryri, one of Britain's most celebrated races which attracts almost 3,000 runners.

This year's marathon starts just outside Llanberis at 10.30am today (October 25).

The route follows the A4086 up to Pen y Pass, drops down to the Pen Y Gwyryd junction, then goes along a country lane until it joins the A498.
