CAR PARK AT BEAUTY SPOT REVERTS TO PAY AND DISPLAY

A POPULAR but pricey car park to walk up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is changing the way it operates this weekend.

Pen y Pass is an ideal access point for both the Miners' and Pyg Track trails leading to Yr Wyddfa's summit, as well as for the Crib Goch ridge.

Since April it has been managed on a pre-booking system through the Just Park app.

This means drivers have to book a parking space beforehand and can't just turn up.

But this changes from tomorrow.
