New North Wales sauna reckons on being UK's wildest

OUTDOOR saunas are a wellness trend that's showing few signs of slowing down. With sites popping up across the UK, off-grid saunas are on course to quadruple inside two years.

The chance to experience cold-water dipping and sauna therapy is now being offered along the North Wales coast, from Colwyn Bay to Aberdaron, and you can read our review of that one here.

Inland sites, next to lakes, are becoming popular too, with saunas operating at the likes of Llyn Brenig and Llyn Padarn.

A new market arrival is promising something a little different in a quiet corner of Denbighshire. Cheshire firm Shacks boast its wood-fired sauna in the forested hills above Llangollen could just be 'the UK's wildest.
