AMBER Davies has admitted she 'really didn't know' what she was letting herself in for when joining Strictly Come Dancing as a late addition.

The West End star from Denbigh was drafted in just a day before the first live show of the 2025 series to replace fellow former Love Island winner Dani Dyer in the lineup.

Dani, who was prepared to compete in the BBC One dance contest alongside Nikita Kuzmin, was injured just days before her first live performance, fracturing her ankle during rehearsals.

Amber then joined Nikita in her place, and has since been impressing in the competition, taking part in week six on Saturday night.

The pair made it through to the popular programme's annual Halloween special, having been saved by the judges after landing in last weekend's dreaded dance-off.
