ALDI UNVEILS ISLAND STORE PLANS

STORE giant Aldi has released details about its plans for a new supermarket on Anglesey.

THE PLANNED NEW ALDI IN MENAI BRIDGE

Last year the company revealed it wanted to come to Menai Bridge.Now Aldi has announced its planned location and more information on the store itself.

It is part of pre-application consultation before submitting plans to Anglesey council.

Aldi said: “We are proposing to develop a new, high-quality food store in Menai Bridge, opposite the Four Crosses Business Park at the junction of the A5025 and B5420.

“A new store at this site would significantly improve the local retail offer, which is currently limited to smaller, more expensive stores that are not able to meet the local population’s weekly shopping needs.”
